Siviglia deriva da Ishbiliya, nome dato dagli Arabi nel 712 quando fu da loro conquistata, ma prima di loro era stata occupata dai Romani e ancora prima da Fenici e Cartaginesi. I primi furono comunque i Tartessi che la fondarono. E' una bella città con inverni miti ed estati un po' calde.
